Who We Are

Russell is a nationally recognized Financial Advisor, and is well known by his peers as a respected, elite retirement specialist. He’s been honored with numerous awards and accolades during his 35 years in the financial services and life insurance industry, and is an approved member of the National Ethics Bureau. Russell is also a licensed insurance professional.

Since founding Campbell Financial Group over 20 years ago, Russell has developed a client base throughout Tennessee, Virginia, and North Carolina serving pre-retirees and retirees. He, along with his wife, Dee, regularly hosts financial preparedness workshops to educate clients and prospective clients regarding various issues that could arise to create unforeseen problems in their pre-retirement or retirement funds and planning.

With a drive to always excel and a passion to help those in financial need, Russell travels across the country in search of knowledge and insight to better serve those who rely on him for guidance. He regularly attends numerous conferences each year to get the latest information regarding trends, pending tax issues, law revisions, product developments, and more – all to help safeguard the financial wellbeing of his clients.

After serving 6 years in the military as an air traffic controller, Russell was honorably discharged in 1992. Although his service to his country might have ended, his selfless service to others was just beginning. Mere words to some; God, family, honor, respect, trust, and integrity are, in fact, cornerstones to Russell that he firmly holds to in both his personal and professional life. They are always at the forefront of his mind and exemplified in his everyday life.

Russell and Dee live in Loudon, Tennessee. They have three adult children, three grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters! When he’s not at the office working, Russell is either traveling, doing carpentry, or spending time with their dog, Teddy Bear.

She, along with her husband, Russell, regularly hosts financial preparedness workshops to educate clients and prospective clients regarding various issues that could arise to create unanticipated problems in their pre-retirement or retirement funds and planning.

Dee has been in the insurance and financial industry for over 40 years and has her LUTCF designation. She maintains licensing for life and health products, asset based long-term care, and annuities. Because she’s seen so many people through the years experience adverse financial consequences due to unexpected illness, she has a very special place in her heart for people who have been negatively affected by financial hardship. As such, Dee has dedicated her career to ensuring that her clients never have to feel the financial burden caused by unforeseen medical issues.

Knowing the devastation that sudden events can cause in a family; Dee is passionate about helping to secure the long-term financial wellbeing of her clients. To this end, she travels to many different conferences throughout the year to get the latest, most up-to-date information on proposed and pending legislation, tax changes, product enhancements, and trends – all as a means to better prepare her clients and safeguard their financial interests.
